The Sapphire Comedy Hour has quickly become a “must-see” show in Las Vegas every Friday and Saturday night at 8 p.m. (Open seating starts at 7:30 p.m., so don’t be late!) This show is housed in the 300 seat state-of-the-art showroom located at Sapphire Gentlemen’s Club. The show features both up-and-coming comedians along with nationally touring headliners, magical acts and some sexy burlesque in between. JJANGA Japanese restaurant has a terrific lunch special. From 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. For only $8.95 you can chose three items from their lunch menu. Chose from chicken katsu, salmon teriyaki and mini pork steak along with 10 others; the special is served with rice and soup. Other lunch specials include a bento box with two or five items such as mini pork steak, chicken wings, sashimi or barbecue chicken or a bowl with bulgogi, vegetables, baked fish or chicken teriyaki, both for under $10. For dinner, guests can go with an a la carte menu that includes katsu, hibachi dishes, yakisoba noodles and more. All-you-can-eat sushi goes for $20.95 at lunch until 3 p.m. and $25.95 for dinner to close.
At Grand Cafe at many Station casinos, you will find a $9.99 t-bone steak special. The special is served daily and comes with veggie & potato. You can also add a 99 cent margarita. The Riviera has $1 live blackjack 24/7, $2 well drinks 24/7, $4 breakfast and a $4.95 Bakery Basket in the Wicked Vicky Tavern, and two $5 happy hours at the R Steakhouse.
There are three free fantastic variety shows in Las Vegas. The Dennis Bono Show at South Point Hotel & Casino. The show is every Thursday at 2 p.m. Tony Sacca hosts the Las Vegas Rocks variety show every Friday at 2 p.m. in the Railhead Showroom at Boulder Station. The third show is the Suncoast Variety show which is every Thursday at 2 p.m. The shows are open to whomever wants to show up and entertain, and there is no set script. Top Las Vegas entertainers such as George Wallace, Rich Little, Clint Holmes, The Scintas and Taylor Hicks have all appeared at these shows. You just never know who will show up.
