A game of three-card poker turned into a $1.3 million mega progressive jackpot for one lucky Harrah’s Las Vegas guest on Tuesday, June 1. The winning hand? A royal flush of hearts.
The winner, who did not want to be identified, and their family enjoyed a bottle of champagne to celebrate their new fortune.
Later in the month, a visitor from Ohio was playing Crazy 4 Poker on June 14 when he hit for $412,911. Joseph Jeckel won the mega progressive jackpot on Crazy 4 Poker after spending about 15 minutes at the table.
Jeckel was joined by his wife in celebrating the big win. The couple says they plan to use the money to pay off their home, add to their kids’ college fund and come back to Las Vegas more often.
