A North Carolina resident was celebrating the holiday season at Sam’s Town Hotel & Gambling Hall in Las Vegas and won a nearly $100,000 jackpot playing IGT’s Triple Stars slot game on Monday, Dec. 27.
The lucky guest, who requested to remain anonymous, was playing Triple Stars around 3 p.m. and turned a 90-cent bet into a $97,302 payday, making his visit to Sam’s Town an unforgettable experience.
The month prior, a Boyd Gaming guest from Hawai’i won a million-dollar jackpot on IGT’s Wheel of Fortune slots at Main Street Station Casino Brewery Hotel in Downtown Las Vegas. After playing on the machine for just seven minutes, the guest hit the jackpot of $1,025,602 on a two-dollar wager on Nov. 16.
