Betting Big: Borgata Unveils Sports Entertainment Venue
The Borgata Hotel Casino in Atlantic City was set to open its new $12 million Moneyline Bar and Book combined with the Level One Cocktail Bar and Lounge on June 29.
The facilities were designed with sports fans in mind and feature a 40 by 11.5-foot video wall with 17 more 98-inch and 86-inch displays surrounding the 8,000-square-foot venue. Moneyline features a 35-foot bar with built-in slot machines under a light feature inspired by a coach’s playbook.
Bettors can sit in style in flex-back stools at the bar, at high-top tables with device chargers, plush booths, or in the VIP lounge. Wagers can be made at six betting windows or an interactive kiosk. The property features a high-end menu by executive chef Tom Biglan with numerous craft beers, and nightly entertainment.
“We felt Borgata’s guests deserved something that would advance the market by bringing together sports, culinary, entertainment, gaming, and nightlife into a destination experience they can enjoy seven nights a week,” Borgata President and COO Marcus Glover said.
Level One offers an intimate venue for high-end gaming, cocktails, and an exclusive viewing experience on game nights with the option to play Blackjack while watching a game. The 3,600-square-foot venue is connected to Moneyline and features peacock greens, copper, and cork-inspired wallcoverings. Guests can expect live music and DJs throughout the week.
