Savor Borgata Weekend returns to the Borgata Casino Hotel on Friday, Nov. 6, and Saturday, Nov. 7, featuring a variety of events leading up to Street Eats: Savor The World, a unique food festival celebrating global street fare prepared by Borgata’s celebrity roster of chefs.

A place to eat, drink, and mingle, Street Eats: Savor The World will offer more than 20 different stations from Borgata’s star-studded culinary lineup, including Wolfgang Puck (Wolfgang Puck American Grille), Bobby Flay(Bobby Flay Steak), Geoffrey Zakarian (The Water Club at Borgata), Michael Schulson (Izakaya Modern Japanese Pub), Stephen Kalt (Fornelletto Cucina & Wine Bar), Greg and Marc Sherry (Old Homestead Steak House), as well as Executive Chefs Tom Biglan (Borgata) and Thaddeus DuBois (Borgata Pastry). Enjoying craft beers and a variety of wines from across the globe, guests will join hosts Mike Jerrick and Alex Holley (FOX29 Good Day Philadelphia co-hosts) at The Event Center on Saturday for a night that will include live music by Crazy In Stereo, festival entertainers and games, kitchen demonstrations by Bobby Flay and several of Borgata’s in-house chefs, among other activities.

“We are thrilled to present Street Eats: Savor The World as the head-lining event of Savor Borgata Weekend,” said Becky Schultz, Vice President of Food & Beverage for Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa. “New to Street Eats this year, each chef will present their take on globally-inspired street fare, providing guests with the unique opportunity to nosh on eats from around the world, without ever leaving Borgata. Several new events will be introduced to the weekend lineup, including dinners by Wolfgang Puck and Geoffrey Zakarian on Friday, as well as debut tastings and seminars throughout the day on Saturday.”

For the fourth year, Borgata will present a program of signature events throughout the weekend that will celebrate the individual talent of each participating chef. On Friday, Savor Borgata Weekend will kick off with three signature dinners designed to excite even the most experienced palettes. “The Best of Wolfgang Puck,” located at Wolfgang Puck American Grille, will present a five-course wine dinner by Chef Puck himself with a menu drawing inspiration from his restaurants around the world.

Down the hall, “Dinner with Geoffrey Zakarian” will take over 28 West for a gastronomic experience guests will savor forever—including a meet-and-greet cocktail reception with the Iron Chef, followed by an exclusive four-course dinner.

Across property, Old Homestead restaurateurs Greg and Marc Sherry will celebrate New Jersey’s best steak house by hosting a multi-course “Steak, Stoli, & Caviar” dinner with their award-winning Executive Chef, Romeo DiBona. On the same evening, guests may join Absolut Vodka and Borgata Culinary to learn how to throw an unforgettable cocktail party at “Absolut-ly Fabulous Tapas Party” held inside one of the hotel’s premiere Residence Suites.

On Saturday afternoon, Food Network fans will learn some of Bobby Flay’s most celebrated recipes during a live Culinary Demonstration at Borgata’s Music Box theatre. Immediately following, Flay will sign copies of his new cookbook, Brunch @ Bobby’s, inside 28 West.

Also on Saturday, Borgata will host a series of intimate classes and engaging culinary activities, starting with a four-course “Wine and Chocolate… Perfect Companions” savory-sweet lunch at 28 West produced by Borgata Executive Chef Tom Biglan and Wine Manager Laura Turenne. Just a few dining rooms away, Fornelletto Cucina & Wine Bar Chef/Partner Stephen Kalt will host the interactive “Pasta Making 101,”where guests will spend the afternoon sipping wine and tasting savory bites. Later, Izakaya Modern Japanese Pub’s Michael Schulson will demonstrate just how fun and easy sushi-making can be at the hands-on “Sushi & Sake with Schulson” class, while Borgata Executive Pastry Chef—and former White House Pastry Chef—Thaddeus Dubois shares his best techniques for the perfect pie at “The Pie is the Limit.”

Borgata will also present tasting events for guests to pick their poison amidst whiskey, beer, wine, and champagne seminars throughout the property on Saturday.
