Jeopardy Champ Helps Debut New Jeopardy Slot Machine
Game show fans can channel their inner Alex Trebek in two new IGT Jeopardy slot machine. Fans of the long-running game show can experience what they see on television each day: Single, Double, and Final Jeopardy rounds; Daily Doubles; and even introductions by announcer Johnny Gilbert.
The new game debuted in October at IGT’s G2E (Global Gaming Expo) booth. Jeopardy champion James Holzhauer was on hand to battle fans in head-to-head duels. “Jeopardy James” even challenged fans to three questions at a time for Jeopardy slot-themed giveaways. Contestants stood behind iconic Jeopardy podiums and posed for pictures with Holzhauer, the third-highest winning Jeopardy contestant of all time.
resident of Las Vegas and professional sports bettor, Holzhauer made news earlier this year for his 32-game winning streak as the show’s champion. He won more than $2.4 million in his 33 appearances. The new three-reel slot uses IGT’s Triple Double Diamond base game. Along with Jeopardy, the company also recently debuted another game to please game show fans – the $25,000 Pyramid.
