Million Dollar Heater Poker Series Returns To Beau Rivage
Beau Rivage Resort & Casino presents the highly anticipated ninth annual Million Dollar Heater Jan. 3-13, 2020. The Million Dollar Heater is a poker players’ dream come true with $1,000,000 in guaranteed prize pools and 65 tables. The schedule starts with a $600,000 guaranteed event with an entry fee of $400, and the High Roller event features a $250,000 guaranteed prize pool with an entry fee of $2,000.
There will be 16 tournament events with buy-ins from $100 up to $2,000. During the Million Dollar Heater, there will be daily events with exciting game formats including 8-Max No-Limit Hold’em, Limit Omaha 8 or Better and Pot Limit Omaha.
The Million Dollar Heater has been setting Mississippi records for the highest number of entries in a single event since 2017. Beau Rivage Poker Room Manager Henry Garrison says, “This year’s Million Dollar Heater will have an updated Beau Format which means all events will be ran with a hybrid version of the Big Blind Ante structure and all day two winning players receive cash. We feel the Beau Format is the most advanced form of tournament play with the best guest experience in the poker community.”
Registration begins at 9:00 a.m. Jan. 3, on the Beau Rivage convention level and is open daily from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Friday, Jan. 3 through Saturday, Jan. 4 and 10:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 5 through Monday, Jan. 13.
